Hello,
I'm Jennifer Aengst,

a freelance Senior Project Manager and Consultant based in Berlin with over 20 years of professional experience in the digital industry. I work with mid- to large-scale organisations on complex digital projects – bringing the structure, alignment and delivery reliability they need when scale, dependencies and stakeholder complexity make things challenging.

I have deep knowledge of web-based platform and mobile application development, and extensive experience with both classic (Waterfall) and agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, SAFe). Having worked on both the corporate and service provider side, from family businesses to DAX corporations, I am well acquainted with the different processes and challenges on both sides.

My clients particularly value my pragmatic, solution-oriented approach, my strong organisational and communication skills, and my ability to get up to speed quickly in new environments. I am IPMA certified and business fluent in English, having lived and worked in London for several years. I look forward to working with you!

Services I offer

Senior Digital Project Management

Complex digital projects with demanding stakeholder structures and intricate dependencies require clear ownership, focused communication and reliable delivery. I take end-to-end responsibility – from timeline and budget to risks and dependencies – ensuring priorities are clear and progress remains visible throughout.

Project Delivery Stabilisation

Projects under pressure often share the same root causes: unclear priorities, fragmented communication and shifting requirements. I identify the structural blockers, realign teams and stakeholders, and re-establish a realistic delivery setup – restoring clear priorities, transparent communication and early visibility of risks.

PM Workflow & Process Optimisation

An outside perspective reveals what those closest to the work cannot easily see. I analyse project workflows, communication patterns and PM structures, identify inefficiencies and sources of rework, and develop targeted measures – tailored to the specific context of the project – to strengthen coordination and optimise processes across teams.

Tool Selection & Introduction

New tools only deliver value if adoption is sustainable. I manage the selection and introduction of tools – including AI-supported solutions – that enhance communication, documentation and workflow efficiency, starting with a thorough requirements analysis, followed by a structured, phased rollout and tailored training and documentation.
